The AI clinical scribe for dermatology & physiotherapy.
ScribeAI converts your consultation dictation into structured clinical notes in seconds. Specialty-specific. Built for dermatologists and physiotherapists.
How It Works
Choose Dermatology, Physiotherapy, General Practice, or MSK / Orthopaedics. Each uses its own note template and curated ICD-10 code set — because a plaque psoriasis note looks nothing like a rotator cuff assessment.
Dictate using your browser's Web Speech API — no app, no plugin. Or paste an existing transcript. Your words stay in your browser until you hit Generate.
Receive a structured note with Chief Complaint, HPI, Exam, Assessment, Plan, ICD-10 codes, and Follow-up. Copy sections individually or the full note in one click for your EHR.
Features
Dermatology captures morphology, distribution, dermoscopy and red flags. Physiotherapy captures ROM, special tests, strength, neurovascular status and outcome measures. General Practice adds review-of-systems and explicit safety-netting. MSK/Orthopaedics reads like a clinic letter. Each with its own curated ICD-10 set — we know the difference.
We don't just let the AI assert codes. Every code is reconciled against ScribeAI's curated ICD-10-CM set for your specialty — verified, remapped from deprecated codes, or flagged for you to confirm — and we deterministically surface codes the AI missed. Each one is colour-coded by trust and reviewed before you use it.
Verified against a real specialty code set — never a raw model guess. Decision support only; confirm every code before billing.
Your transcript is processed in a single request and never written to any database we run. Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, inputs are not used to train models.
Voice input runs entirely in your browser via the Web Speech API — no app, no plugin. Tap to tag who's speaking and each turn is labelled Clinician / Patient, so the note is structured from a real dialogue rather than a wall of text. Works on Chrome and Edge.
Every note gets a deterministic coding grade: verified vs unverified codes, "unspecified" codes that could bill more specifically, missing laterality, and red flags with no matching plan. Ambient rivals emit codes and hide the trust basis. We grade our own output so you review the right things first.
Correct any section inline, or regenerate a single section from the transcript without redoing the whole note. Then copy or download as Markdown or plain text — ready to paste into Epic, SystmOne, EMIS, Heydoc, or any EHR. Copy the full note or one section. No reformatting, no lock-in.
You already dictate notes — to yourself, to a tape recorder, to a PA. ScribeAI just structures them. Same workflow, better output, 8 minutes saved per consultation.

Privacy
Your transcript goes from your browser to our generate endpoint to the AI provider in a single request — it is never written to any database we run. We'd rather state plainly what we do and don't offer than dress it up.
ScribeAI does not currently offer a Business Associate Agreement and is not marketed as HIPAA-compliant. Do not include identifiable patient information in transcripts. De-identify before dictating.
There are no accounts and no note history. When you close the tab, your note exists only where you pasted it — your EHR, not our servers.

FAQ
ScribeAI structures your dictation into a note using the template and ICD-10 coding rules built for your specialty (dermatology, physiotherapy, general practice or MSK/orthopaedics). It only includes what you actually said in the transcript — it does not invent clinical findings — every ICD-10 code is reconciled against a curated specialty code set and labelled verified or unverified, and every note should be reviewed by the clinician before being copied into the EHR.
Your transcript travels in a single request from your browser to the ScribeAI generate endpoint to the AI provider — it is never written to a database ScribeAI runs, and there are no accounts or server-side note storage.
A structured clinical note built for your specialty: chief complaint, history (HPI or subjective findings), exam or objective findings, a clinical assessment, a plan with action items, ICD-10 codes with a coding self-audit, and follow-up guidance — editable per section, exportable as Markdown or text, ready to copy into your EHR.
ScribeAI is built to pull the clinically relevant detail — chief complaint, findings, assessment, plan — out of a natural, unstructured dictation and organise it into the correct specialty template, rather than requiring a rigid dictation script.
Unlike enterprise tools such as Nuance DAX, Suki, or DeepScribe, ScribeAI is self-serve with no sales calls, runs in the browser with no app download, and uses specialty-specific templates for dermatology, physiotherapy, general practice and MSK/orthopaedics rather than a generic note format — with every ICD-10 code reconciled against a curated code set instead of trusted blind. A free tier is available now; paid pricing is under review and not yet on sale.
